Special Issue Guidelines

Transactions on Engineering and Computer Science invites Special Issue proposals from researchers, academics, engineers, and subject experts on emerging and significant topics across engineering, computer science, information technology, and related interdisciplinary fields.

Special Issues aim to bring together high-quality research on focused areas of current scientific and technological interest.

Each Special Issue proposal should include:

  • Title of the Proposed Special Issue
  • Purpose and Current Relevance: A brief description of why this theme is relevant and how it contributes to the advancement of the field.
  • List of Topics to Be Covered: A broad overview of the research areas or topics to be addressed within the special issue.
  • Potential contributors and target audience: A preliminary list of authors or experts likely to contribute articles.
  • Guest Editor(s) details: Names, affiliations, and contact information (address, email) of proposed guest editors and potential reviewers.
  • Tentative timeline for submission and publication: A tentative schedule for article submission, review, revision, and final acceptance.
  • Tentative Timeline: A proposed schedule covering manuscript submission, peer review, revision, final decisions, and publication.

All Special Issue proposals are subject to approval by the journal's Editorial Office. Manuscripts submitted to an approved Special Issue must meet the journal's standard editorial and publication requirements and will undergo the journal's established peer-review process. Acceptance of a Special Issue proposal does not guarantee acceptance of individual manuscripts.
