Article Processing Charges (APC)

Transactions on Engineering and Computer Science is an Open Access journal. All published articles are made freely available online without subscription or access charges to readers.

To support the editorial and publication process, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable only to manuscripts that have successfully completed the peer-review process and have been accepted for publication.

The APC contributes to the costs associated with:

• Initial editorial assessment and manuscript management
• Similarity screening
• Coordination and administration of the peer-review process
• Editorial processing and quality checks
• Copyediting and language checks, where applicable
• Typesetting and article formatting
• Online publication and website hosting
• Long-term online accessibility and administrative support

There is no manuscript submission fee. The applicable APC is payable only after the manuscript has successfully completed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication.

Payment of the APC does not influence the peer-review process or editorial decision. Editorial decisions are based on the quality, originality, relevance, and integrity of the submitted work.

Waivers and Discounts

The journal may provide partial APC waivers or discounts in exceptional circumstances, including selected invited contributions or other cases approved by the Editorial Office.

Requests for waivers or discounts should preferably be made before acceptance. The availability of a waiver or discount does not influence the editorial or peer-review process.

Withdrawal Policy

Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript by contacting the Editorial Office.

• Before Peer Review: No withdrawal fee will be charged if a manuscript is withdrawn before the peer-review process begins.
• During or After Peer Review: Authors should provide a reason for requesting withdrawal. Where substantial editorial and peer-review work has already been completed, the Editorial Office reserves the right to review the circumstances of the withdrawal in accordance with the journal's editorial policies.

Payment and APC Enquiries

APC payment instructions are provided to the corresponding author only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.
