Depending on the nature and significance of an issue, the journal may publish:

A retraction
Another appropriate post-publication notice

Minor errors that do not affect the scientific interpretation may be corrected where appropriate.

More serious issues involving unreliable findings, significant errors, ethical concerns, or publication misconduct may require additional editorial action.

The journal evaluates post-publication concerns on a case-by-case basis.
